The wireless DRI-ECO-4S can be fitted anywhere in the home, either by its adhesive backing or with screws (not supplied).
The benefit of having this manual control over the DRI-ECO-HEAT-HC unit is that should you feel additional ventilation is required during times of demand such as cooking, bathing or cleaning for example, there is an option to boost the ventilation rates for a length of time or automatically returns to normal mode after 2 hours.
The PIV units’ integral heater can also be set to either operate on Auto, in which case the system will intelligently function as per the systems technology, or turned off until such a time the user decides to resume Auto capabilities.
This switch can also work in conjunction with Nuaire’s 2 remote sensors:-
A Relative Humidity sensor which tracks the percentage of humidity in the property’s air and will automatically boost the ventilation rate of the PIV unit if high levels of humidity are measured. This level of humidity becomes reduced to a level that condensation cannot exist.
A Carbon Dioxide sensor which measures the level of CO2 in the property’s air as PPM (Parts Per Million) and intelligently boosts the ventilation rate of the PIV unit to bring in fresh, filtered air and therefore maintain healthy indoor air quality.
