Nuaire has been designing and manufacturing low-energy ventilation products in the UK since 1966.
Our history is rich in product development and innovation. We are proud to have invented several ventilation strategies that have since been adopted by the wider industry. One such innovation is the popular Positive Input Ventilation (PIV) strategy, which eliminates the cause of condensation dampness.
Our reputation is built on outstanding quality of service and design. We have been the first in the industry to achieve several ISO standards reaffirming our commitment to quality in all aspects of our operations. We have also become a ‘zero waste to landfill’ business, supporting the Welsh Assembly Government’s One Wales, One Planet initiative. Meeting this objective resulted in significant cost reductions on problem waste streams.
In 2015, Nuaire became part of the Polypipe Group PLC. Through this partnership, we gained a stable foundation for continuous investment in processes, efficiency initiatives, and product development. We have since introduced several firsts, such as combining the innovative technology of PIV with a powerful carbon filter to address growing health concerns around indoor air quality.
Today we work hard to remain at the forefront of ventilation technology with products that solve problems facing Housing Associations, self-builders, the construction industry, schools, hospitals, as well as private landlords and homeowners.
Based in South Wales, our factory is four times the size of Wembley Stadium with a separate warehouse providing additional storage. We manufacture almost all of our products on site, from small bathroom fans to sophisticated Heat Recovery units. We also have an additional site based in Bedwas where our largest units such as the Boxer range are manufactured.
